The Salvador Cortez CC-2248CE is a nylon-string classical guitar with a cutaway and electronics that features a slimmer neck. Similar to the CC-22 and CC-22CE, it has a solid cedar top that produces a warm, rounded tone. With a 48-mm nut width, it is narrower than the 52-mm nut widths of the CC-22 and CC-22CE. This makes the CC-2248CE more comfortable for players switching from an electric or steel-string guitar, as well as for those with smaller hands.
